CMC time different from server time

hi, i have installed BOXI R2 on a solaris environment, and the solaris is using IST ( Indian Standard Time). In the CMC when I schedule report the time will be 1 hour more than the actualy time. Does anyone know why this is happening ? I know that you can fix it by choosing in preference and selection the appropriate city time. But am just wondering why the time is plus 1 hour when i set in preference as default web server.

thanks

probably the daylight saving issue - there is a pacth for r2 … check with your support

I remember having a similar issue with an R2 installation and it was due to a bug in the java version we used on the server. A java patch fixed that for us. But as Sorn says, I think there is a BO patch for this issue as well. What BO version and Java version are you using?

We also had an issue similar to that when we were running BOE6.5 on Solaris. We had to patch both the BOE system and a patch from Java. Our’s was a daylight saving time issue.
