Hello people,
I’m new on BO and the company that I work wants that I learn BO and install it in a cluster on two servers running Windows 2003 with “high availability”. After the installation on the two servers, I can see all the BO servers on the CMC, but I have some questions and I need a little help:
1 - When I choose to install MSDE on the two servers, the second installation points to the first MSDE or points to the second? Clusters working with only one database or more than one? If the application works with only one DB, how can I configure it to use with BO?
2 - When I try to login with the first server down, the CMC is not displayed, and I think it try to login on the first server, because in the logins page I see in the system field, the name of the first server. Is this alright when I work with clusters?
3 - The administration document tells me to configure the clusters in web.xml file, in a field called “cms.clusters”, but in my installation, I can’t find this field in any web.xml field. What I’ll have to do to my little cluster of two servers works?
