Cleansing Package component is missing in DS 4.2 installatio

Hi ,

I am installing DS 4.2 and I also want to install DQM cleansing packages 4.1.

As per the installation document In the installation window Cleansing Package component is there.
The PERSON_FIRM.zip file, located within the cleansing package .zip
file, must already be copied to the correct location. If the cleansing
package data is not found by the installation program in the expected
location, the option is disabled.

But i did n’t find the component itself in the installation screen. How can i get the component . Please find the attached installation component screen for reference.

Today I will check with the DS 4.1 SP1 with same license key for the Cleansing component is coming or not.

One more thing is there is no <INSTALLER_DIR >\dunit\im.lac.ds.cpdata.cp-4.0-core-64\actions\data folder in the setup file( downloaded DS 4.2 file) . im.lac.ds.cpdata.cp-4.0-core-64 folder is not existed in DS 4.2 . I have checked the DS 4.1 SP1 installation file there that folder is exist.

But in the installation document they mentioned the path . Please find the attached screenshot for missing file.

Ramana, looks like the process has changed slightly.

You will have to download those Zip files from the SAP Downloads and dump that file unzipped there

Hi Ganesh ,

I have followed the same process. First of all for the following process there is no such directory exist in DS 4.2 installation file .

But they mentioned in the installation document like same process mentioned in the SAP notes 1737677 and 1771758.

In the 30th page of ds_42_install_win_en.pdf document mentioned same as SAP notes 1737677.

Is there missed that folder or any other alternative is there .

Yes, you are right Ramana. However, I could see that folder in the path mentioned in the SAP Note - 1737677

As I attached screenshot there is no such file in the installation setup dunits folder. I installed the installation setup file 51045746_2(SAP DATA SERVICES 4.2 WINDOWS (64B)).

If you have the 4.2 setup file could you please check once .

There is a file called im.lac.ds.cpdata.info_object-4.0-core-nu only . There is no such file with name im.lac.ds.cpdata.cp-4.0-core-64.

I have checked with the DS 4.1 SP1. When I was trying to installing in the setup it is giving the option like Cleansing package with disabled. Then i copied PERSON_FIRM cleansing packages in the file location as mentioned in the SAP note/installation document then it is enabling .

But 4.2 that file is missing as well as Cleansing package option in the setup file also missing.

Please find the attached screenshot from Dunits folder from the setup file.

I got the reply in the SCN like in DS 4.2 cleansing package comes with DS installation itself. I tried EnglishNorthAmerica_DataCleanse transform , It is working . But In the transform we can choose the options like language. I didn’t check how much it support for languages like arabic etc. Then why they gave the name EnglishNorthAmerica_DataCleanse transform.
