CHANGING USER FOLDER ACCESSES

We are set up for authentication with Windows AD. Set up went pretty much fine. With reorganization, when we try to change folders that people can see, then authenticate, the changes are not coming across to CMC. An example would be as follows:

 Department 1 Folder
     Folder D1_1
     Folder D1_2
 Department 2 Folder
     Folder D2_1
     Folder D2_2
 User can "see" Department 1 Folder/Folder D1_1.
We add access to Department 2 Folder/Folder D2_2 on the Windows
      AD side.
 Authenticate in CMC.
User can still only see original Department 1 Folder/Folder D1_1. No
update appears to have been performed.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an update flag somewhere in CMC we are missing? Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Any access configurations to content is done on the CMC side. Couldnt fathom how you did this on the ‘Windows AD side’.

Authentication (Enterprise, LDAP, Windows AD, Windows NT) is primarily for authenticating users, i.e. whether or not they have access to the BO system. As Vinod mentioned, content and other system/application level security is setup within CMC.
