Does anyone know if there is a way that we can change the default end time for a scheduled report that would apply to all job servers in a cluster?
Currently when you schedule a daily report in BO XI R2 the default end date is 10 years away, so an uneducated user could be setting up a report to run daily for 10years when it is not really needed.

Interesting request, but this is a hidden setting somewhere in the depth of the CMS database. Can’t be done (easily at least) I’m afraid… Maybe you want to remove rights for users to be able to schedule by themselves and reserve that right for ‘trusted’ users?

It was not my call but we given all users rights to schedule documents. I cannot revoke this as I need to fulfill my clients “needs”.
This settings should be able to be manipulated. 10 yrs is ridiculous. Ill let you know if I find a way, please do the same!

Has anyone found where the default settings are for the End Date/Times?
Is 10 years still the default?
Ours use to be 10 years out but now defaulting to the same date/time as the start date, which fails the report if it takes longer than a minute to run.
