CE 10 - Internal Error

Hi,

when I try to open a report through URL, sometimes it comes given back an error:
Internal error. [On Page/Cache Serveur: xxxxx]
This error does not come always generated.
Someone knows the reason?

The architecture is following:

Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP 1
Crystal Enterprise 10
IIS 6.0
Load Balancer

Thanks to all

Delete your temprary files from the browser…

restart the page & cache server…

is this problem on one computer only…or more…

probably above 2 should solve the problem…

Hi JohnCina,

the problem verification always on the same PC… but after the error if I throw again it, the report works correctly.… Moreover in the same moment on an other pc the report works correctly.

I have made what you have indicated to me but I have not resolved… the problem is still introduced. :frowning:
Do you know some patch/fix to resolve this problem?
Sometimes when launch report asks me also the user and password…
Why?

In the dir Loggin on server i have this log WebCompServer_20070115_135830_808.log and inside this message:

(Y:\backend\WebAppServer\plugin\viewrpt\pageserverrequester.cpp:80). (m_pRptSrc != NULL : no message).

what means?

thanks

Hi,

Please let me know the following details…

As you said…it is computer specific problem…not happening with all the machines. … tell me is this the CE server machine…if not which OS, IE you are using on this machine. :?:

It seems to me problem is machine specific. Try changing the browser…if possible

Search this error message on the support.businessobjects.com…you will definatly find something.

Kind Regards

Hi,

we have made some tests and the problem is not legacy to a PC, but to the component Cache/Page Server.
The user uses an application web that recalls the report crystal… when the service CMS is shutdown (not connect to oracle DB)… the report goes with justice in error (!) But although the service comes reactived the report continues to give error (Internal Error on Cache/Page Server).
In order to resolve the problem the customer must close the session Internet explorer and newly make the login on the application.
The problem seems to be legacy to the cache (not local), but also making the restart of the service Cache Server it does not resolve itself.

Comes you in mind something?

Sorry…for my english…

Thanks still.
