Causes of failed webi jobs-server configs?

Hi All,

What are the causes of failed jobs for webi schedules?

There was an error “session is closed” while scheduling webi reports…causing failure.

BO tech support suggested adding requesttime out setting in webi processing server and adaptive job server but this was causing server to timeout after two hours.

So, not sure it is required.

Other than the database not being available, what are the server config reasons that could cause webi report schedules to fail.

Get with your DBA and check the timeout values on the database side. It is possible that the database is set to drop sessions after a certain period of time.
