Can't have public folder

Hello All,

I migrated our BOXIR2 to BOXIR3 by import wizard, everything looks well. But when I connect infoview as a normal user, I can’t have the list of all the public folder. I’ve checked the rights to access the folder is the same in the version 2.

Who can tell me how can I fix it??

You may need “View objects” at the “All Folders” level for Everyone group.
Make sure that is granted but only “Apply to Object” is checked, no “Apply to Sub Object”.

I find the solution:

  1. Root Folder for the group Every, give the right as View
  2. you have define the rights No access for Every in sub-folder.

But I still have the problem on the page of preferences when I want to define the parameters.
When I click on the option Preference, I have this message error:
"An error has occurred: Sorry, you do not have the right to ‘Add objects to the folder’ (ID: 1) for ‘’ (ID: 49). Please contact your administrator if you require this right.
"

Give this access to user group:
Infoview>Application
Change user’s preferences

Thanks.
But it dosen’t work.
When I connet to CMC–> Application–>Infoview–> User security–>Every–>Assign Security–> Advance
I check the radio box as Granted for several parameter, after clicking on Apply and OK. I think I’ve changed the values.

Then I repeat the actions below, I find that the Implicit Value for the parameters always “Not Specified”.

So do you have idea for this??
