Can't connect to new server using CR 2011

My IT department just updated BOE from Edge 4.0 to Edge 4.2 and put it out on a new server. I use CR 2011 and since they went to production with the new server I can not log onto to Enterprise.

Is this an Edge issue or is it due to the new server???

Never used Edge, but it interesting that we have always had to match the BOE to the version of Crystal Reports that is released with it (i.e., we use BOE 4.2 and Crystal Reports 2016, when we were using BOE 4.1, we had to use Crystal Reports 2013).

Donโ€™t use Edge either, but there were some pretty major changes starting with BO 4.2 SP4 that required updates to the various add-on applications.

Would definitely suggest that you should check to see if CR2011 is supported by your version of Edge and update, if needed.

All of the security libraries were replaced with 4.2 SP4. So you will not be able to connect to it from Crystal 2011. Instead, you need to download and install Crystal 2016 SP4 or newer.
