Cannot load authentification driver. (USR0053)

Hi,

We have upgraded from BO 5.1.8 to BO 6.5.1. Subsequently in MS Excel, have added the MS Excel Add-In, bqapi, from the path, C:\program files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 6\bin. Encountered the above said error while trying to load Business Query tool from MS Excel.

Error Messages Guide states that this is due to WinNT Authentication being turned on in Supervisor and that it is looking for a file, KNTUI50.DLL, in the bin path. However, there is no such file in that folder but found the file, kntuidrv.dll, instead.

FYI, the said path is defined in the environmental variable, $PATH.

Appreciate all the help that I could get in resolving this issue.

Hi Raghuram

              Try doing this i think your problem will be solved.
  1. Delete or move KGLUI50.DLL from the BusinessObjects folder.
  2. Copy KNTUI50.DLL to KGLUI50.DLL.
