Cannot edit combined queries

One of our user is trying to edit the report and he is getting this error :
“The data provider cannot be displayed as it contains combined queries”.
Is this some thing to do with the permissions in the CMC? The user is having permissions to edit the objects so I couldnt know what exactly the problem is. Can anyone please help.

Is it only a specific user who cannot open the report? Have you tried to open it using an administrator profile?

Also check the universe parameters (in Designer), and make sure the option to ‘Allow use of union, intersect and minus operators’ is ticked (on the ‘SQL’ tab).
