Can not log on to 'Central Management Server'

Hi,

I am very new to Business Objects.

My problem is I can not log on to ‘Central Management Server’ from dashboard (Xcelsius) even though I can successfully log into ‘‘Central Management Console’’ from the browser. The error i get is :

Unable to log on: Could not connect to serverxxx-xxxxvm:6400. Plese check that the server name is correct, and that the server is running.

I do not understand this, what I am doing wrong ?? :frowning:

Any clue or help on this is much appreciated. Thanks
