I am using Crystal Report 2008 Designer.
When I try to Drill Down, a new tab opens up.
I want to Drill Down in Same Page.
How can this be done??

can’t i create a folder like structure for hierarchy levels… just like we have in windows explorer…
so tht there is a plus sign next to the parent level and when i click on it… then next level opens just below it…?
are there same page drilling down options in crystal reports XI?

If you have groups in your report the Group Structure appears in the Preview Panel (down the left hand side of the report). When you expand the structure you will see the subgroups and when you click on one of them you will jump to that section of the report. BUT when you double click on a Group Name or Summary field you will drill down (on a new tab) to just that groups information.

I exactly have the same structure as you have described above.
What I wanted I drill down i wanted the parent group details also in the same report and hence i wanted to drill down in same report.
But I guess like you said its not possible in CR 2008…?
