Can Grow with stacked fields and labels

I have a report spec’d with fields stacked on top of each other and the field labels to the left, like this;

Label1 Field1
Label2 Field2
Label3 Field3

If I set Field1 to Can Grow it doesn’t push Field2 down but overlaps it, even if it did if it doesn’t push Label2 down as well then the Labels will be out of alignment so I’ll have a problem

What’s the best way to solve this?

Hi,

If you are using all the 3 levels and fields in the detail section then divide the detail section in 3 parts Da,Db,Dc and place one one label and field in each of the part.

To get Da,Db and Dc sections go to Report menu>> Section Expert. Select Detail section. Click insert button 2 times to get 3 sections. Click OK.
