BW Universe: Creating a predefined condition

I want to create a non mandatory predefined condition in the universe where only the last 31 days are returned. I would like to do this in the MDX editor in universe (released in XI 3.1) and not in the BEx query. There isn’t much in the MDX editor that looks useable for this particular issue…and to be honest I haven’t a clue what MDX equivalent of sysdate is. It’s a shame, because the logic is so simple in RDBMS world: The equivalent logic in SQL would be between and ).

Unforetunatley, I cannot do this at the BEx query easily. It’s a long story, but you have to trust me this isn’t a current option.

It turns out this date functionality isn’t in the MDX editor in the XI 3.1 SP2 release.
