We have a BW 7.01 SP7 system and am trying to connect our DS 3.2.2.2 system with a BW Target DataStore.
The RFC connection is good (can test from BW, and in the DS Management Console the SAP Connections - RFC Server Interface is running. In BW, I have a DataSource set up for the DS Source System. I have executed the functions RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN and Z_AW_RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN successfully, and reactivated all DataSources etc.
In the DS Designer, I was able to successfully connect to the BW system. I can see the list of InfoSources from BE, but the import button is greyed out.
Any ideas?
I had this working about a year ago but now it is just not working.
We have installed a new box with a new DS4.2 system, so I set up a separate RFC and Source System for that system, but it is giving the same behaviour when connecting.

Hi,
The issue was resolved - it was due to missing authorizations. We granted SAP_ALL to the DS userid and the import is now working. We will now work on determining the exact values required.
