BW Process chains Status

Hi,

we have a requirement to extract the data from Open Hub Destination (OHD) tables. For this, I have created a data flow with source as OHD and target as Oracle table.

If the Job executed successfully, then the Process chain will update the status as Green or G in the BW. But where as if the Job got failed due to any reason like Unique key violation in the target table, the Process Chain is not updating the status as Red or Failure and the process chain is getting locked.

I can’t run the same process chain again, \i need to manually delete the previous request in BW and then re-run the Job. Is there any way I can update the Process chain status in BW ,automatically if my Job fails.

Another question is Can the BODS Job will be executed from SAP BW ?

With the RFC server I think you can.

THere are multiple SAP Notes/fixes on the chain, I would first check them…
