Are there any known compatibility problems with the version of BusinessQuery released with 4.1 and Excel 95.
In Excel 95 I have to reinstall the BusinessQuery addin each time I open Excel. This does not happen in Excel 97. I have also seen very long wait times using Excel 95, which do not occur using Excel 97.
This is a problem because the company I am consulting for has standardized on Office 95 and does not have plans to upgrade to Office 97.

I have the same problem here. This subject has popped up on the list from time to time. It may be worth searching the list archive. The conclusion I have reached is that Excel 97 solves a lot of problems with Excel 95/Business Query. Particularly stability problems. We get no end of GPF/Dr. Watsons with Excel95.
We have a couple of reports with very large queries that cause a lot of problems. I am currently writing a script to run the query on the DAS overnight and then convert it to a Business Query file and then do a read and insert from the Query Director in Business Query. I am hoping this will cut out a lot of our problems.
