Hi, I have registered to give SAP C_DS_41 exam in the beginning of January, in UK, Currently studying from the technical manuals. I have basically verified from the SAP Education authorities that Data Quality is not a part of it. But sill to be on a safe side, I am going thru the basic theory part of DQ transforms. i have been working on Data Services for more than 5.5 yrs and preparing for this certification exam on/off from June. Hope I pass…

finished C_BOWI_30 , was not too difficult . Like everyone here says, you need to learn the help files and guides very thoroughly. And try each and every option from the webi intelligence rich client. tricky questions.
But the funny thing is the cut off mark, it is shown before the exam begins and it varies for everyone. For me it was 76%.
All the best for anyone preparing for it

Hi,
What exactly do you need?
Have you checked this whole topic related to the BOBJ certification? Have you not found the answers here?
Have you also checked the BOBJ certification FAQs here?

Good question. As there is 6 SP, and i know some features were not available in the beginning : which Service Pack documentation should we read ?
rinja (BOB member since 2013-06-18)
I would say, The SAP user guide will be sufficient to clear your exam. Also you shold have some handson experiance.
I have cleared C_BOWI_40 last year with 87%.
Rinja - I dont think the certification is related to SP. It will be general.
All the Best!!

Bumping my question from last year:
I see that there are Delta courses now for WebI and IDT, but nothing for administration. And the only admin courses I see are for 4.1.

First,of all i must say these forum is really helpful for begineers llike me at SAP BI area.
My background,I am student and currently doing my masters in germany and writing my master thesis.
I am interested to do SAP BO certification.
Can anyone provide me with where i can do possible certification in Germany?
as there are provided by University of Diusburg through e-learning but it is little expensive i.e . around 450€ and certification is provided by SAP
I have checked at PearsonVUE i.e. mentioned at these forum for the certification but when i checked on PearsonVUE website they don’t have location of test enter in germany.
Kindly to advise me an option?

Hi all,
This may have been asked in an earlier post but I couldn’t find it. I’m trying to work out the differences between C_BOBIP_40 and C_BOBIP_41. I’ve got far more 4.0 experience than 4.1 (and was a 4.0 trainer in a previous life) but I’m obviously keen to get the latest qualification if I can (I only have XIR2 as I missed out on 3.x).
I’ve had a look on the SAP website at both certifications but it’s a little confusing since a lot of the preparatory courses for the 4.0 certification are actually 4.1 courses!
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
malteser (BOB member since 2006-02-21)
Hi malteser, I passed my BOBI exam earlier this year and only found one certification available for Business Objects - SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.0.
Passing this exam gives you the SAP Certified Application Associate certification.
I found it curious, however that only an “Associate” level certification was available and no “Professional” level certification.
Also, if you haven’t taken this exam it is much like the XIR2 and XI3 exams in that the questions and answers can be tricky. I also found that many questions asked do not have any reference in the SAP BO guides or reference materials. I confirmed this with several other exam takers in my study group as well.
In spite of SAP’s claims that the course work will prepare a person for the exams, the preparation courses alone do not prepare a person adequately for the certification examinations. It is not my goal to merely complain. It is my goal to improve the product and process in order to achieve the most productive outcome for everyone. In short, the exam could use an overhaul.
That said, the BOBI 4.0 exam is very broad based an covers numerous platform applications and features. Be prepared for questions that you just won’t find the answer to with no recourse available with SAP.
Good luck.

Hi, we prefer it if you ask questions on the board - rather than via email - that way everyone gets the benefit of the answer.
