I am attempting to test the upgrade from 5.1.6 to 6.1 of an Excel spreadsheet that contains numerous Business Query queries. When I open the spreadsheet in B.O. 6.1 I can no longer see any of my queries. Is there something else that I need to be doing as part of the upgrade that I have missed?

I don’t have any experience with 6.1 Business Query, but did you “pack” the V5 workbook first? The V6 directory structure is quite different from V5, and any “unpacked” queries (meaning on the hard drive) are probably in the “wrong” place.

I tried both packed and unpacked but it didn’t seem to matter.

To see the query with the excel addin from a previous excel file, the .key file name must be exactly the same (with upper and lower case).
Did you change you .key file name from the V5 to the V6 ? If yes, just rename it.

Did renaming your key file solve the problem. We’re having the same problem and renaming the key file doesn’t seem to do any good.
