I have taken over the administration of a system, we virtualised the system to act as a test system and in doing so i had to reinstall BO Enterprise XI.
However, this version throws an error if the dot net software version is set to 2.0 in IIS, when i change it to 1.2 it messes up the other applications in there.
I checked and 11.5 has addressed this problem, of course the original source media has vanished and no one wrote up the method, so does anyone know how to upgrade from 11 to 11.5, where i would download the file from or even a point in the right direction?

The later versions unpack to a local install version - I don’t think those earlier releases did that though but it’s worth a try digging through the temp files on your PROD installation.
Also dig around for any xi…pdf files - deployent & admin guides and readme files.
I’m trying to rack my brain as to the XI to XIr2 upgrade - not sure if it was an upgrade or new install but the process is always the same - as long as you have a backup of your CMS and FileStore you’re covered.
The only thing you would be missing out on is any customisation or tweaks post installation i.e. on the web / app server.
