Business Objects Versions - Data Integrator / Data Services

First off many thanks to Marek Chladny for compiling this.

My question is, do these version’s map directly to Data Integrator/Services? As far as I was aware the Business Objects Enterprise version are independent of the BODI/DS version. Even though BODI users are administered in BOE.

Despite these dependences the applications have always felt very separate and I’ve found the version naming conventions use to be kind of confusing.

Also, at which version did DI change to DS?

They don’t map. 11.0.x and 11.7.x I do not see in the list.

DI -> DS was from 11.x to 12.x

Thanks Johannes. Is there a full list of versions for the ETL tool?

I think my version of DS Designer is 14.0.2.197 which was installed with BOE XI 4.0

Does anyone know why Business Object used the version identification “XI” (which I assume is Roman numerals for 11) and numbers as well?
