Business Objects universe Create disabled In SAP DS

Hi ,

I am trying to to create Business Objects Universe from SAP Data Services . But create and update options are disabled. I have the Information design tool and SAP Data services on the same machine .

Please see the attached screenshot for reference.

Please help me any settings I have to change to get enabled.

  • If source is BEX - enable - like external data access… Check ur security hierarchy for moving forward

this will work only if you have installed 32-bit version of DS Dsigner, and you need install Universe Designer not Information Design tool

you can only create universe of type UNV (classic universe) using this
other option is to use Metadata Exchange and export the Datastore to CWM format and use that file in Universe Designer to create a Universe, internally Designer is doing the same thing
