Business Objects in Sharepoint

Hi,

We have a requirement of deploying BO reports on sharepoint 2007. Could someone provide us a comparison of using Infoview vs Sharepoint portal.

Our requirement is to do an effective comparison of features/performance changes if we use sharepoint instead of Infoview.

Will all the features of infoview be supported in sharepoint as well (viz. Performance management, dashboarding, webI etc)?

Thanks for the prompt reply.

We are actually looking for a comparison between using Infoview or SharePoint as the official portal.

Do all features get renderd on the sharepoint web parts (from personal experiences) and what about the performance? IS there a oerformnance hit if we use shaerpoint instead of the traditional Infoview?

When you read the documentation, it implies that only Crystal Reports and agnostic documents are supported.
Any insight?

I was also looking into integration with SharePoint 2007, which is used at my company. The BO SharePoint integration kit only supports SharePoint 2003 at the moment. Although its possible that this will work with 2007, you may have some headaches setting this up and will not be supported by BO. I think they are working on a 2007 integration kit, but it hasn’t been released yet.

I had an official confirmation by BO that WebI and DeskI are supported in SharePoint integration.

I’ve heard that the sharepoint 2007 integration kit will be released in the fall of 2007. Not quite sure what the functionality is, though.
