Business Objects 4.1.4

Neil,

Did this fix a problem relating to DAS as an NT service, or something
else? I didn’t see any DAS fixes in the 4.1.4 documentation you
included.

It had nothing to do with the service, although we have it as one now. The
problem was that when a document was sent to run on DocAgent, the next day I
would always get the error: “cannot connect to the security domain”.
According to support, this is a known bug with 4.1.3. Business Objects used
to send out patchs to fix this, but now they will just send you 4.1.4. as a
fix instead.

Thanks for your reply. That’s exactly the problem we’ve been struggling
with for months. I’ve had a case open on that problem, but I’ve not
received that release. I will contact Business Objects and see if I can
wake someone up long enough to send us a copy.

What database are you using for the security domain of the repository?
I’m working with Informix, which seems to be one of the factors that
causes that problem.
