I’ve seen mention of “Business Objects 2000” in Information Week, and now a press release on the BusObj corporate site. Is this the existing products (ie Reporter 5.0.x) all packaged together, or new versions (like the infamous “5i”)? Anyone know?
Just curious…

BO 2000 is the name of the suite. It is just a marketing name for 5.1/2.6/5.i. It also includes all other products that BO sells including Business Query and Set Analyzer.
Yes this is the “new” name for the existing product line. I believe they are shooting for a new naming consistency for the product line.

This is another marketting term for 5i/5.1/2.6 as a packaged deployment.
