Hi Folks,
Not always, but too often, when I click “Data” from the menu bar, Bus Obj just evaporates into outer space. It is not a low memory situation, and I don’t have too many things open on the desktop. Has anyone encountered this? I am using v5.0.2 on a Win 98 machine. I have a call into Bus Obj tech support, but as usual, their response is extremely slow, and service very poor.
Any help is appreciated,
Roger Poole

Indeed, this happens to me too a lot, but only on the PC serving as our Webi-server…
While working on a report, it just kills itself of (only the Reporter module, Designer and Supervisor are fine) I’m not trying to fix it, just saving on regular intervals.
Are gettin EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error when it blows up??? ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

Ummm… you are not really supposed to run BusObj interactively on the webi server box. Some of the Webi components can get confused as they can’t tell the difference between a Webi-spawned instance and an interactive instance.
