Bursting Option 'One DB fetch 4 all recipient doesn't' work

HI. I have to publish a group of web intelligence documents , each personalized and delivered to each recipient (for totally 100 different recipients).

GOAL:I want the data is refreshed once for each document in the publication.

The publishing process I have followed consists of 3 steps:

  1. definition of a ‘Locale Profile’ and its filters
  2. definition of a ‘Publication’, with the Bursting Option setting on ‘One database fetch for all recipients’, to obtain only 1 refresh for
    each document rather than N-executions (if N= number of recipients)
  3. definition of a ‘Schedule’ to execute the publishing daily.

PROBLEM: the single report is executed N-times and not only once.

there is a bug with XI3 related to webi report bursting

(from xi3.1 fixpack 1.6 document)

problem description: Report bursting, which is enabled by the option “One Database fetch for all recipients”, fails and all queries for Web Intelligence
reports are instead run individually.

the fix is in XI 3.1 FixPack 1.6

Thanks! Infact my version is “BusinessObjects XI 3.0 Fix Patch 2”.
I have searched everywhere on SAP website/help portal … the xi3.1 fixpack 1.6 document but I haven’t found it.
Where can I find it?

Ok, I’ve still found it the document.

Do you know others ways to obtain the data refreshed once for each report in the publication, without upgrade my BO current version?

We are running 12.1.5.1096 and have exactly the same problem. This is obviously a bug. Will install the latest fix pack and see if that helps…

I have to upgrade my current version BOE XI 3.0 to XI 3.1 and then install the fix pack 1.6.
I never have done this upgrade before, is it safe or are there compatibility problems? The best way is to create a backup file of my environment (universes, reports,…) and reimport it after the upgrade or are there criticalty?
