We have an Infoset created using left outer join to a field in the InfoCube and the DSO. While BEx query using prompts (even range types) works fine the WebI query fails miserably. We changed all the range prompts to a multiselects knowing that WebI is not so good using ranges for something that is not a Date. But even that didn’t fix the problem: WebI query doesn’t return the data from the InfoSet. And the query is a straight forward “select fields from the source where…”
I need your help to understand the limitations of the WebI over InfoSet knowing that multiproviders use left outer join and it can be different from the left outer join used in the InfoSet. Any help is greatly appreciated.
