I’m working on a migration to Zabo. I’ve migrated two users and already, they broke it . Matt (some of you met Matt in Miami ) hit the escape button while a query was processing. He forgot to include an object. He received a box telling him that…
An HTTP request is running
and asking…
Do you really want to break it?
Matt said ‘Yes’ and he got the gray bug box. Not normal behaviour correct? Any advice? Is the stuff in the gray box actually ever helpful with troubleshooting. Any suggestions before I do a search on ‘unhandled’ .
big trouble Cindy - they should not have gotten the unhandled exception (gray box?) by hitting escape. It should have broke off the query and returned to report side of ZABO - or at least half the time it does depending on where the query is in the process. Sometimes it seems to stop and give partial results – I guess if the query has run and is returning rows. Other times it ignores the escape and keeps on running. Sometimes it takes a real long time but will stop. I forget - does ZABO show the analyzing … and then row count at bottom of window?
what to do - try again and see if they can replicate. See if they can determine at what point the query is at - analyze or return - it seems to make a difference.
and yes - I think the stuff in the gray box is too darn generic to mean much.
