Ok, first let me say that I know this product has been retired. :? However, I have users in a BO 5 environment that I need to move to a BO 6.5 environment. The problem is that we (and the users) know very little about BQMD.
It appears that simply opening the Excel spreadsheets in 6.5 is not enough. It seems to remove the query. 
Is there anyone out there that has actually tried tackling this issue before and can you shed some light on this process?
