What are you trying to achieve ?
Most of the software stack is installed on a server, so there is no real benefit there.
You can rollout rich client through software such as citrix…

Thank you for the response. It’s nothing we are trying to achieve. Its something that must be made available for our customer. Not certain how we can virtualize just BO (esssentially tricking it into thinking it is installed on a server, if I understand the definition properly).
Any idea?

Please provide more specific details of the customer requirement.
One of the examples given there is using a Linux based machine to run Windows via emulation.
Another similar example would be a VM ware server installed on a desktop, which then has BO installed within that VM.
Obviously, as it is installed within the emulator it will not “touch” the OS install that the emulator is using.
However, you still need to install the actual emulator and the BO software still needs to be installed within the emulator.
