Great tool, but for me it seems to max out at 10 000 documents. And zeah, customer has more than 10 000 docs in repository incl. instances.
Just where would I increase this imposed limit, please?

10,000 is adjustable by altering the “Documnet record Limit” (5th field) in the Selection Criteria. You will note it is defaulted to 10000.

I am receiving an Failure in btnExtData_Click() error. I have selected instances. It also gives an “CrystalEnterprise14.FW_Properties.1 - 2147210697: Item SI_MAIL_ADDRESS was not found in the collection. 1000440” message. Running version 9

I get the same error! When i choose to include instances. Very irritating, as there is a lot of useful stuff the spreadsheet gives me.

Big thanks to those who have worked on this utility, its come out really handy for us…
A question, this is pulling up a list of all the reports uses particular universe. Is it possible to extend that functionality to include the objects/filters in the report as well. Looks like its doing most of the work already by pulling the lineage between universe to reports so would be really beneficial to add the objects information as well.

I have run into an issue using this utility. I do find that this utility rocks for almost everything I do as our BO Admin.
My issue is that when I run this, I get 2 Universes listed for reports on the Document Tab. We have as many as 3 Universes, (Prod),(test),&(Dev). I am trying to get reports off of anything but the (Prod) universes.
I find a report, open the query in BO, change the universe being used from 9Test) to (Prod), it refreshes perfectly. I Export the report back into the repository, and run the Documentor again. It still shows both still.
DW_Lkwd_ODS (Prod)
DW_Lkwd_ODS (Test)

If I re import the query into mu Deski, It only shows the (Prod) universe is now the only Universe assigned to the query.

What gives?

Hi Sush - long time no speak!
Hope things are gong well for you.

Where I am working currently, the BO support team have not been able to run this since there machines have been upgraded from 32bit to 64bit
I dont suppose you have any thought on what could be the reason?
I dont have admin privs so can’t check anything out myself unfortunately.
They are running 3.1

MS Office also needs to be 32 bit as the BO client is 32 bit.

Did anyone figure out how to make the tool work with a 64 bit system?
It gets stuck on the line to Logon.

Set mySessionMgr = CreateObject(“CrystalEnterprise.SessionMgr”)
Set ceSession = mySessionMgr.Logon(ceUsername, cePassword, ceAPSName, ceAuthType)

Do you have any update on this one?

I am also trying the fetch a list of crystal reports off of a specific database but this tool didn’t list out any such information. It works great for webi though.

Hi

I have upgraded the Ms office to office 365 since then Documentor is not working. Getting the following error.

I also checked the References - VBAProject and found the following checked.

I have SAP BO SP05. It was working well, and all of a sudden has stopped any help highly appreciated.

Hello,
SAP BI COM libraries do not work with 64bit Office/Excel. So you must stick to the 32bit version.

Thanks, So are there any similar utility work with 64 bit. As per corporate policy, we can not use 32bit.
