Hello,

I am try to convert a simple program from ASP to use ASPX. But I am having a lot difficulties.

In ASP, I can use

Dim SessionManager
Set SessionManager = Server.CreateObject(“CrystalEnterprise.SessionMgr”)
Dim Sess
Set Sess = SessionManager.Logon(“”, “”, “CMS”, “secWinAD”)

Works great with Windows AD.

In ASPX, I use

        SessionMgr sessionMgr = new SessionMgr();
        EnterpriseSession enterpriseSession;
        enterpriseSession = sessionMgr.Logon("",
                "",  "CMS", "secWinAD");

Always fail, and default to “secEnterprise” authentication? Why is it?

You still have to have the user ID and password for WinAD authentication. If you want to do SSO, you’ll need to look at using Trusted Authentication.
