/BODS/SAPLBODS" is not Unicode-compatible

Hi,
The program “/BODS/SAPLBODS” is not Unicode-compatible, according to its program attributes.
Recently, we had a issue with Host and RFC issue while importing data from ET1 via BODS, We tried to overwrite the cofile and datafile in SAP directory via External TR. hence this issue raised. unable to read any table in ED2 and ET1. unicode - compatible issue prompting . Please can you suggest us the fix for this.

/BODS is deprecated, have you tried switching to the newer /SAPDS?
