Upgrading from 4.0 to 4.2. Copied central repo from sql srv 2008 to 2014, upgraded, etc and can connect just fine. Issue I am having is with getting latest on objects from central repo with embedded dataflows with template xml target - they fail. I noticed in 4.2 that they look different…anyone have any ideas? I would hate to have to modify several hundred of these. Thanks.

[i]As per your message, the issue is known and is fixed in Data Services 14.2 SP7 PL1. I am attaching SAP Note 2322650 that discusses the issue in detail.
Kindly upgrade from DS 14.2 SP7 to DS 14.2 SP7 PL1 and test your scenario. Let me know if the issue is still present.[/i]

Applying the patch worked for us. After applying the patch, your system may need to be rebooted.
