When I try to login to Data Services 4.0 Designer I am getting an error
message: “Session: CMS Cluster Membership is incorrect.”
I am able to connect to the Management Console, Server Manager, Repository Manager, etc. This problem seems to only occur when Designer tries to connect to the CMS for authentication. I can even connect to the CMS via the Web Admin.
Notes:
BOE and BODS 4.0 are running on the same machine. Recently due to
another issue we were forced to uninstall BOE/BODS. After reinstalling
BOE 4.0 SP2 Patch 15 we then reinstalled Data Services. The installation
appeared to be error free, however when we try to login to Data Services
Designer we get the error message. I have tried all forms of
authentication and am unable to connect.
Anyone experience this? We did keep the same Cluster Key, SIA and CMS names when we re-installed.
I was able to resolve this issue. I was not able to use localhost or the IP with port 6400. I had to use the renamed port in the ccm of servername:6400. Silly me, can’t believe I missed it. Oh well, hopefully it helps someone in the future.
Hi,
One of my client machine is mentioning the same error message when logging in to BODS designer, can you please explain what you mean by ‘I had to use the renamed port in the ccm of servername:6400’
I know this is late, but i had the same issue. What Luca was saying is open your CCM, then open your SIA and look in the Configuration tab. It will state that:
CMS belongs to cluster “XXXXXXXX” (fill in the X’s with what you have in quotes.)
Use what is in the quotes as the “System - host” when logging into the Designer.
I attached an image of what I’m talking about, hopefully it comes through.
