Hi,
could some one please give me a hand on how to go about this, my current BO XIR2 server is coming off lease and I need to re-install another server but with the same host name at the end of the day.
Old BO server = current BO server
New BO server = replacement BO server
When I am re-installing the new BO XIR2 can I use the existing BO repository? or do I have to creat a new one than import the old repository information onto the new repository? If I could use the existing BO repository will the new BO server was able to use the old repository while the old BO server is running?
After when the new BO server is installed … what if I need to rename the host name to the old BO server, what do i need to do? beside changing the web.xml information in Tomcat, is there any other thing that I need to update?
