BO XI R3: how to import an (excel) table into CMC-groups

Hi,

The hierarchical structure of our organisation is currently stored in an Oracle table. I’m using BO XI R3.1

We would like to import this table into the groups of the CMC by using a script. First we wanted to enter the groups manually, but this is a lot of work given the large number of rows.
So how do you get the data of the table into the groups of the CMC using a script? The language of the script is not that important though we prefer VBA.

Note that is the table is a hierarchical table. It’s structure is like this:

060520 050200 1 Zuid
050200 040112 Unit Zuid
040112 EMPTY Specialisme Zuid

Code 040112 is on top (root) of the hierarchy. After an import in the CMC this should the top group. And this group should contain the group 050200. The group 050200 contains the group 060520 etc.

P.S. I’m able to export the Oracle table to an excel or access table if necessary!
