BO XI R3 - Access level - Reset password only

Hello

I read a lot of topics on this subject but didn’t find the solution.

Today, we have created an Access level who contain this :

The group who receive this access level has received it on :

The users of this group can change the password of all users BUT can also change all parameters of the users on the same page.

Did somebody has an example of rights needed to give some users the right to change ONLY the password of all users ?

I think there is no granularity for such a need…

Sebastian is absolutely correct. The Admin guide is clear. Edit password gives the right to …

• Change the password for your user account. To do
this, you also require the “Edit objects” right on your
user account.
• Change the password for another user’s account. To
do this, you also require the “Edit objects” right and
the “Modify the rights users have to objects” right on
the user account.

Because “Edit Objects” is required, you can also change the other user parameters as well. Unfortunate.

Thanks for your confirmation

We will use the SDK to build something to change only the password.

It was just to be sure that we don’t miss something.
