Anybody knows the year in which bo xi r2 was available commercially…

I would say that Business Object XI R2 was released in 2006 judging by what I have found on the Internet.

If BO 6.5 is not available as a download option in the ESD download site then there is no other official way how to get to the software.
Ask your BO account manager if s/he can help you with this problem.

Whether you intended it or not, the way I read this is you want to know the release date for the software so you can claim that you have experience with it starting from that date. A resume/CV is supposed to be fact, not fiction. Tell it like it is. Tell the truth all the time and you never have to remember which lie you told where because the story never changes. 
If that was not your intent then I do apologize. If not, then I have to suggest that BOB is not going to be a very friendly place for you to hang out. Many of the members here try to make an honest living by working with the software and don’t look kindly on folks trying to compete for jobs they are not qualified for.
