BO XI 3.1 Which SP?

Hi,

I am not sure how to identify this, but thought to get it confirmed here… I am on XI 31 & not sure on which SP, but the product version is - 12.1.4.1068, so which version of SP is this…?

Hi,

It should be BO XI 3.1 FP1.4.

And this sticky topic in the XI Server Discussion would have helped you:

Hi Marek,

Thank you for your prompt response. So does this means that SP2 came after FP1.4?

And generally what is the difference between FP & SP? - This is just out of my curiosity, I am asking …

Yes

There is a good blog post that answer this question:

Once again thanks…

What actually this means? And is 3.3 latest BO version or it is BO 3.1 SP3? I am confused , as in download section it is showing BO 3.1 SP3 and there is no 3.2 and 3.3, so confused…?

BO 3.1 SP3 should be the latest service pack.

It’s probably not very straightforwardly written (BO XI 3.3) in the sticky topic

Thanks Marek for clarifying all my doubts, just a last when - where I can find what is fixed in a particular FP? Sp I guess documents are available on SAP help site, but for FP I am not sure ?

Try searching in the installation folder and/or on the installation medias for What’s New (or something like that) document.

Ok understood. So this means I won’t be able to find what is new before installation?

Before the actual installation, you should have installation medias. And there should be What’s New document or any other document that describes which bugs were fixed in the release you are going to install.

If you look where you download the fix packs, there is usually an “info” link to an SAP note which has a pdf containing the release notes and another one for fixed issues - so yes, you can look through these pdfs and see if the fix pack is required before you download it.
