BO XI 3.1 license key issue

Hi All,
Could any one help me out in updating the License key of BO XI 3.1 on Solaris 10. We replaced the licence key with the permanent one through CCM & enable the server
s. We tried logging in to Infoview but could not find the modify report option. We edited the CCM.config file which had not got updated with the new license information. We restarted the servers again & we got the message as not the valid license key.

You could try this:
start up BOE with the original key
log onto Central Management Console (web page)
go to License Keys
add the new key here - should get a success message

the system says a restart is not required but it is my observation that a lot of times after adding a license key BOE (& the web application server) needs a restart
