Is it possible to document BO(Ver6x) WebI Reports?
Documentation should majorly comprise of Table names and column names used in the report.The basic intention is to capture the tables and columns used in the report(Data provider is universe based)
What if I’ve access to WebI repository DB(In our case, SQL Server)?
Will that provide me the details of DB columns used in the report?
Can somebody assist ?

I’m assuming you want to automate this, given you’ve placed this thread in the SDK forum. If not, all you have to do is get the SQL behind each data provider in the report.

Yeah…That’s right.I need to automate this.Coz hunting the SQL and documenting the DB artifacts (Table names, Column names) is a very mundane job if the report list is too huge.
I wanted to test WID Scanner, but apparently, the file is corrupted when i try to execute it.
Any assistance, shall be highly appreciated.

Thanks a ton for driving my attention to WID Scanner.
But that works for XI files…My requirement is very specific to 6x Webi Reports.
