BO SDK marco to delete repeatative columns in excel sheet

Hi,

We have created Webi Reports with multiple blocks. As per the client requirements we are repeating the column and row header for each block.

And above process is creating issue when the report is exported to excel, the excel currently displays column and row headers multiple times which looks odd.

Can anyone suggest if there is any solution for such a issue. the areas we are working on are

  1. Trying to find out a BO Sdk macro which can delete duplicate headers while exporting the report to excel.
  2. Write a macro to delete the duplicate headers from excel sheet and integrate it with BO.
  3. looking for a hotfix or patch from BO end which can resolve this issue.

All if anyone has faced a similar issue, please help out.

By far the simplest solution is to create a duplicate report in the same document, and either suppress the headers or just remove the break. When you export to Excel, just delete the sheet that isn’t formatted correctly.
