Our reports have been running very slow. It appears as though all reports are hitting against 1 processor even though we have 4. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem?

It depends on the licensing… how many processors to use ?
If you (or your company) have license to use 4 processors, then :
a) Ask your DBA on the database side to control the BO processes to use all processors.
b) Ask you Network Admin to check the processor affinity for each of the BOE Services.
c) You can also pass cmd line parameters to each of the BOE services and which processor to use.
