Hi,
I am new to installing BO enterprise edition on a windows server. I would like to install it on Windows server 2008 R2 - 64 bit. Can you provide me the package numbers (installation & patches) I need to download.

Thanks for your reply.

I have disks that have numbers 51038908, 51038921. But they are for installing on windows 32 bit server. I would like to know the corresponding numbers for installing on windows 64bit server.

Josh,

You install the 32 bit version of BO onto your 2008 64 bit server. Each process just runs with *32 next to it (in task manager) to indicate it’s a 32 bit process.

You need to use the 32 bit ODBC panel (which is in the SYSWOW directory) to set up any ODBC connection (it won’t see any you create in the 64 bit panel ~ the default one)

Only thing I did was to install the 64 bit version of tomcat (after installing everything and making sure it worked), so that Tomcat could use a bit more memory.
