I got it running on a Windows 7 Ultimate laptop. It runs fine without any issues.

You’ll have to provide more details about your problem than just “the CMC is not working”

Thank you for reply:

I am getting the following error,
Error: Server :6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null

It seems CMS is not strating up, I checked Tomacat and SIA, they both are running, I could n’t figure the problem, Any clues??

Check the CMS configuration under SIA. Sounds like the host name is not set correctly

I am having this error as well, after months of normal operation. I haven’t changed anything, except re-installed tomcat after it stopped working.

“Error: Server :6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null”

The server information I have is having the Local CMS Servers set to the servername.CentralManagementServer, Port 6400.

There’s nothing under Remote CMS servers on this main node. There are webi servers running on 2 other machines and in the Remote CMS servers it lists what is the local server on the primary one.

Any ideas? I’ve searched high and low for a solution. This is on a Windows 2008, 64-bit machine. Pretty much stock configuration and no add-ons.

Also take a look at your task manager and see if CMS*32.exe is running.

It is running, and consuming 52mb of memory.

Edit: Problem solved. The old server was turned back on by sys admins and was hitting the same SQL server. This caused a lot of conflicts that were not reported in logs.
