I have a BO edge 3.1 server installed with tomcat 5.5 on win2008. The infoview address is like http://myserver:8080/InfoViewApp/. but I need it to be http://myserver:8080/mydir/InfoViewApp/. Any help will be much appreciated.
Please let me know if any one have already done it.

You’re going to have to change your context paths and web app locations - not worth all the trouble …

Exam code?
The question you have to ask here is why is this a requirement? Is it so important that your client are willing to install a product worth a lot of money onto a platform that is not supported? That means their annual support cost is all for nothing.
Second, it is with almost 100% certainty that I can say you won’t be able to do this. Lot of components are coded to point to a set path, and changing this means going through every setting and change them. And you would have to do that for every fixpack and service pack as well.
If you are a consultant, you are the expert, and therefore should advice your client to follow Business Objects best practices.
