BLANK - Dashboard and Analytics Setup

Hi All,

I have been trying to install BO XI 3.0 on Sandboxes and everything seems to be running fine except for the Dashboard Setup piece.

I am having a problem trying to do a “Dashboard and Analytics Setup” as an Administrator through Infoview.When ever i select this option the screen just turns blank.I am using the “Administrator” account as the initialization logon user for the setup.

I have the following entry in Tomcat->Java->Java Options

I do see the PerformanceManagement.war file under D:\Program Files\Xcelsius\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\java\applications.

Do i need to re-deploy the war files.Please let me know if i am missing something.Any thoughts are appreciated.

if you just go to infoview-preferences-performance management dashboard builder , can you see the parameters?

Thank you for the reply.I am able to set the initialization user in preferences and all that,but i am having issues when i try to set up the repository for PM using “Dashboard and Analytics Setup”.This is where the screen just turns blank and nothing happens.

Hi,

Did you find a solution for this? I am facing the same issue. I even reinstalled the BO XI 3, making sure that all the dashboard related servers are selected for install (they are selected by default anyways).
Adding separate license keycodes for performance manager and dashboard builder also didn’t help…??

if you are using IE8 it might be IE problem…i had same problem with IE 8, i am using firefox now and it is working fine.

I’m experiencing the same problem with both Firefox and IE 8. Under System Setup, both Repository and System User are blank. Under Parameters, Options is blank but under Trace and Caching settings are visible and I’m able to modify them. :hb:

Is it browser settings or a botched installation???

If you are using Internet Explorer, just click on the Compatibility View button from your toolbar.
